Privacy Policy

This page explains, at a high level, how Luddy may collect, use, store, and share information across the website and mobile product experience.

Effective date: May 19, 2026

Information We Collect

Luddy may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account credentials, preferred languages, learning goals, and support messages.

When you use the app experience, Luddy may also process conversation content, call transcripts, voice interaction metadata, progress data, subscription status, and device or browser information needed to operate the service.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and maintain your account, personalize your language-learning journey, deliver chat and voice features, improve learning recommendations, process payments or subscriptions, and respond to support requests.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to analyze feature usage, monitor reliability, and improve the overall Luddy product experience.

Voice, Conversations, and Learning Progress

Because Luddy is built around guided conversations, the service may store or process chats, call transcripts, and progress events so sessions can be resumed, reviewed, or used to generate learning feedback.

If microphone-based features are enabled, Luddy may process audio or audio-derived content strictly for the purpose of providing voice conversations, call quality, transcript functionality, and related learning feedback.

Sharing and Service Providers

Luddy may rely on third-party infrastructure and service providers for hosting, analytics, authentication, notifications, billing, AI features, or voice processing. Those providers may access information only as needed to perform services on Luddy's behalf.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer involving the Luddy product.

Cookies and Website Data

The website may use basic cookies, logs, or similar technologies to remember preferences, understand site performance, and keep the experience secure and functional.

If additional analytics or marketing tools are added later, this policy should be updated so the website accurately reflects those technologies and any associated choices.

Your Choices

You can typically update account information, change language preferences, manage subscription settings, or stop using voice features at any time through the Luddy app or future account tools.

If you would like to request deletion or correction of your information, Luddy should provide a contact channel or in-product workflow to handle those requests in line with applicable law.

Data Retention and Security

Luddy keeps information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support the learning features users expect.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet or software-based service can promise absolute security.

Children and Policy Updates

Luddy is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law without appropriate parental or guardian involvement.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When material changes are made, Luddy should revise the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
